A pair of striking Modernist mixed media metal and Lucite candlestick holders, probably designed circa 1970 by Alessandro Albrizzi (Italian, 1934-1994). Holders having acrylic bodies with square bases surmounted by wide rimmed chrome holder cups. Decorated with encircling acrylic serpent figures having nickel plated brass heads, tails, and brass tongues. Height: 8 inches. Condition: light surface wear to Lucite.
