Antique 19th century large carved Garnet Pearl Gold Brooch, C.1875. The Brooch of circular shape set in the centre with carved ray design garnet and small star set pearl all with a surround of intertwining foliate textured leaves, the outer border of foliate triangular engraved designs, locket to reverse. Acid tested for 10K. Diameter: 1.5 inches. Later safety catch to pin closure. Item Weight: 10.20 grams.
