Antique silver plate spirit kettle on stand, Hirons, Plante and Bourne English C.1883-1886. In a Christopher Dresser manner, the hemispherical kettle with plain panel like body and ebony tube like bar handle. The stand of elegantly simple turned feet supports with spirit burner to the centre. Full marks under kettle for the registered patent mark for Harwood, Plante Co 1883-1886 with the marks for Hirons Plante and Bourne. Height: 9.5 inches. Width: 7.50 inches. Spread foot to foot: 6 inches.
