Georg Jensen Chrysoprase Sterling Silver Ring, C.1970

Georg Jensen very slightly oval green Chrysoprase Sterling Silver Ring C.1970. Designed by Harald Nielsen, Danish, model no. 46F. Oval cabochon chrysoprase collet set upon slightly convex outer oval frame, plain tapered shoulder. Fits very comfortably on finger. The stone is in good condition and greener in colour than images show. Reflections of white are purely reflections from photography. This is a large size ring, 9.5 so may have been sized but could be sized down if necessary. Good clear marks to underside as shown in image. Harald Nielsen (1892-1977) was a Danish designer for Georg Jensen. The younger brother of Georg Jensen's third wife, he joined the company at 17 as a chaser's apprentice but later became one of the company's leading designers in the 1920s and 1930s
