Antique Dutch Sterling Silver marriage spoon 1909 Berthold Muller

Antique Dutch Sterling Silver marriage/engagement presentation spoon, English import marks for Chester 1909 Berthold Muller. The Spoon with a boat finial Dutch Minerva silver mark for Groningen. (Office closed 1927) and full Dutch and English silver import marks to bowl. The finely made spoon has a round shaped bowl with pierced and engraved floral and scroll patterning with two birds signifying lovers. The spoon has an ornate stem mounted with a coin or medallion mounted with a figure in a sailing boat finial. Height: 5.75 inches. Width of bowl: 3.40 inches. Weight: 64 grams. Condition: Good.
