Large Carl Poul Petersen Sterling silver bowl, Montreal, circa 1940. The hand-hammered bowl in Georg Jensen style on circular base with leaf and grape cluster surround decoration. Diameter: 8 5/8 inches. Height: 4.25 inches. Weight: 562.5 grams. Petersen handmade marks to base. Petersen was born in Denmark and apprenticed with Georg Jensen. He married one of Jensen's daughters and later moved to Montreal.
