18K green Tourmaline Ring "forma livre" attributed to Burle Marx, C.1960. Burle Marx invented the technique of carving and tumbling forma livre stones in 1948, and the style became his signature. The deep green color tourmaline gauging approximately 24 x 18 x 14.5 mm, pierced florentine textured shoulders set with two small single cut diamonds on either side, plain tapered polished gold shank. Stamped with Brazilian gold mark and 18. Ring has been sized where traces of where original Marx mark would have been. Present Ring size: 7.0-7.5. Item Weight: 4.6 grams.
