Magnificent large nine piece tea and coffee service - Garrard & Co, London 1839-1842. Tilt Kettle with burner, coffee pot and brazier stand, teapot, 2 x slop bowls, 2 x two handled sugar bowls, 2 x milk jugs. Each piece of a pumpkin panel form richly decorated with embossed and chased scroll, shell, foliate and scale design. Height of Kettle: 16 inches. Height of coffee pot: 12 inches. Bowls: 7.25 x 3.25 inches. Total Weight: Approximately 260 oz. Coat of arms and motto for Henniker, Baron (Henniker-Major) … 'Deus major columna’……….God a greater pillar of support. All pieces hallmarked. Condition very good. Original box has wear.
